For this Blog About It post, I have decided to talk about how the blogs actually help us in this specific class. For many classes that we will take in college, it is primarily test based with no homework or at home reinforcement. When I heard that we were doing blogs in this class, I was very concerned because it was not what I expected from any college class and I also don’t think writing is my strong suit. For my first couple of blogs I was extremely nervous and tried to “think like a blogger”, trying to make my posts funny yet intelligent. I soon realized that I was being ridiculous and that I just needed to be myself and let my true opinions out. These blogs have helped me in this class and in my life in general because it allows me to get my feelings out in a creative way while also getting my schoolwork done. The idea of making a blog is very original because many teachers would not want to use their time to read their students blogs or even have one of their own! I hope that in the rest of my academic journey, more teachers have the same creative ideas to help us excel in our classes.
